Facebook Ads helps businesses reach their target audience, offering a way to advertise to millions of Facebook users around the world. With Facebook Ads, businesses can create highly targeted campaigns, tailor-made for specific demographics or interests and goals.
Pre-requisites
To set up this integration, you need the following:
- Facebook integration
- Facebook Ads Account ID for the ad account you want to connect
Step 1: Facebook Ads option is available under Marketing menu. If anyone clicks on to “Marketing --> Facebook Ads” but their Facebook integration is not present then they will get a message as below.
Step 2: Click on 'Go To Integrations Page' button and click on 'Connect' Facebook to integrate your Facebook page.
If you are not already logged in to your Facebook account, it will show a Facebook login page where you need to enter you username & password.
If you are already logged in to your Facebook account, you will be prompted with a Facebook request access page where you need to click on 'Continue'.
Step 3: After you login OR “Continue” with the integration, Facebook page selection window comes from where one of the pages needs to be selected to finish the Facebook integration. Choose the Facebook page and click on 'Continue'. The page will automatically refresh and your account will get integrated.
Step 4: In the integrations page. click on 'Connect' Facebook Ads option.
Step 5: You will be prompted with a Facebook Ads access request screen where you need to click on 'Continue'.
Step 6: The next screen will ask you to choose all your Facebook pages or a specific page. Click on 'Continue'.
Step 7: The next screen will ask you to choose all your Instagram pages or a specific page. Click on 'Continue'.
Step 8: On the review access request page, click on 'Save' to proceed.
Step 9: Your Facebook account is now connected. Click on 'Got it' to proceed.
Step 10: The Facebook Ad account selection screen will appear where all the Ad accounts will show up and the user has to select any one.
Step 11: Once you choose your Ad account, a text will appear asking you to add a payment method. Click on the hyperlink in that text go the billing and payments page.
Step 12: Click on Add payment method option as shown below.
Step 13: Choose your payment method from the given options and click on Next.
Step 14: If a card is selected then card information has to be provided and saved.
Step 15: After you save your card information, it will show up in your Ads account.
Step 16: Return to the ZipperAgent tab and you will see that the card information is showing up as shown below. Click on Connect to proceed with the integration.
Step 17: After the Ad account is integrated the page will automatically refresh and show up the CRM Integrations page.
Step 18: Go to the Marketing menu and select Facebook Ads. This page will show all the previous Ads with their status. Use “Create New Ad” option to create a new Ad.
Step 19: Choose your listing and click on Next.
Step 20: In Customize your ad page, choose your template, add custom colours, add your message and upload photos if necessary. Changes will show up instantly on your template design. Click on Next to proceed.
Step 21: Set your Ad Configuration. Choose your target cities, set target radius, set ad status, start and end date, lifetime budget and category. Click on Next to go to Preview Ad page.
Step 22: Review your ad and data as configured before publishing.
Step 23: Post your Ad. Your Ad will go through a review process from Facebook. The status will show up in the Facebook Ads list page from where you can preview the Ad, do limited edits and delete.
TO UPLOAD CUSTOM AD
Step 1: You also have option to upload a custom ad. Follow Step 19 above and click on Upload Custom Ad option.
Step 2: Upload your ad image and view it as shown below.
Step 3: Add your Call to Action Link and Message. Click on Next to proceed.
Step 4: Follow the same steps from Step 21 onwards.
